What's really important to you?

Are you getting enough?

Life can be mundane. But it is in your control – it really is. Whether we like to admit it or not, we have choice.

People say they are worried about money, or have no money, then book a holiday.

People say they can't do anything about their health, then make a change when forced to.

People say they're unhappy but continue retracing the same old steps.

We are a weird old bunch, aren't we? I do it too. I am a coach with all the skills but then struggle to see the wood for the trees.

All of this is ok. We just need to become aware of it. And when we are aware, don't ignore it. Act. Just take the first step. Whether that be phoning a friend, contacting a professional, journalling, making a plan, getting rid of the alcohol, removing the chocolate and ultra-processed food from your house.

Become aware. Decide to change and act straight away.

Writing this blog has allowed me to make the change I needed. Last night I put my mat and dumbbells out in the living room, set my alarm for 5am and I did the workout. The accountability of this morning scheduled send helped too!

No more blaming emotions and tiredness – I know I feel better when I exercise.

They really got it right with their slogan, didn't they – Just Do It!

If you're ready to explore what truly matters in your life and would like some guidance along the way, I'm here to help.
